NFL Week 6 Thursday Night Football

Two 3-2 teams. One prime-time stage. And every model we’re running is pointing the same direction. Tonight in Denver, the Seattle Seahawks come into Mile High as 2.5-point road favorites. We’re fading them. Give us the Denver Broncos +2.5.

The Market Is Wrong About Seattle

On paper, Seattle looks like the better team — and statistically, they are. The Seahawks lead the league in total defense (251.2 YPG allowed) and are a remarkable #1 in passing yards allowed at just 150.8 per game. They score 26.8 points a game, good for 8th in the NFL. This is a legit football team. But the market is pricing in a version of the Seahawks we haven’t seen in three weeks.

Sam Darnold has thrown five interceptions in his last three games, including a first-possession pick in back-to-back outings. Last Sunday, Seattle coughed up the football four times in a 32-29 home loss to San Francisco — a game the Seahawks led by five going into the fourth quarter. The offense has totaled nine turnovers on the season, and opponents have turned those giveaways into 44 points. That’s not a slump. That’s a problem.

The Broncos Are Built for This

Yes, Denver’s offense is a mess. Bo Nix ranks 26th in scoring (19.4 PPG), and Sean Payton’s unit is running on fumes — averaging just 4.5 yards per play and generating under 270 net yards per game. Nix has looked gun-shy and hesitant, abandoning clean pockets and negating his dual-threat upside.

But here’s the thing: Denver’s defense has carried this team to a 3-2 record and it’s shown the ability to force turnovers at a dramatically improved rate. The Broncos have forced seven turnovers this season — already half their total from all of 2025 — and converted those into decisive points, including 13 points off turnovers alone in their Week 5 comeback win over the Chargers. Against QB Darnold who has been throwing the ball to the wrong team at alarming rates? That turnover machine could be the difference-maker tonight.

What the Models Say

This is where conviction turns into a play. Both New Mexico and Zed lean Denver in tonight’s matchup. But the signal that pushes this from a lean to a confident position is AIP — which has this as a strong Denver play. When two models lean and the third rings the alarm bell, you listen.

The Pick

The public is going to load up on the defending Super Bowl champs. All three models say Denver. The situation says Denver. The altitude, the home crowd, the turnover vulnerability all say Denver. The play is Broncos +2.5
