NFL 2026 Week 6 Survivor Picks
The Cowboys were an 8.5 point favorite against Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football in week 5. Slightly over 50% of the remaining entries in my survivor pools selected the Cowboys, so with the Buccaneers pulling the upset there are now less than 12% of original entries remaining.
Fortunately for me, I stayed off the Cowboys and concentrated on the Sunday games with picks of Jacksonville, Cincinnati and Houston. Jacksonville gave me quite the scare against Philly in London, but was able to get a big kick return to setup the game winning field goal as time expired. The Bengals held off a late Dolphins comeback attempt, and Houston was seemingly in control the entire game.
Week 6 Survivor Strategy: Targeting Favorites of 7 Points or More
I’m sticking with the large favorite strategy again this week, and there are once again lots of options to choose from.
| Matchup | Line |
|---|---|
| New England vs NY Jets | -7 |
| Indianapolis vs Tennessee | -7 |
| Kansas City vs LA Chargers | -8 |
| LA Rams vs Arizona | -12.5 |
| San Francisco vs Washington | -7.5 |
With 4 teams on bye, and some of these large favorites already being selected with different entries I have, it’s getting harder to find the right teams to take. I have one entry that has already used Kansas City and San Francisco and another that has only used San Francisco. So the 49ers are out for me this week and the rest of the season.
Looking at remaining schedules, the Rams don’t have many options after this week that I expect them to be large favorites, so they are going on one entry. The Chiefs are off a bye, but they have the Jets coming up in a few weeks, and I will feel more comfortable using them in that situation than this week against the Chargers. That gives me the Patriots and Colts as my other selections this week.
This Week’s Picks
My selections this week: New England, Indianapolis and LA Rams.
- Contest 1 (3 of 10 entries remaining): I’m going with a single entry for each team.
- Contest 2 (2 of 5 entries remaining): Going with New England and LA Rams.
Good luck to everyone still alive — let’s keep it rolling into Week 7!
