NFL 2026 Week 7 Survivor Picks
Chaos returned in week 6 with both Tennessee and Arizona pulling upsets as large underdogs. It cost me a couple of entries, but I wasn’t alone. There is now less than 5% of the original entries remaining in my DraftKings pool. Luckily, New England wasn’t upset prone, giving me one remaining entry in both the DraftKings $1M+ survivor pools.
Week 7 Survivor Strategy: Targeting Favorites of 7 Points or More
I’m sticking with the large favorite strategy again this week, but unlike prior weeks, there is only 1 option available at 7 points or more. I’m thinking it’s going to be a popular play.

Another week with 4 teams on bye. With 6 weeks already behind us, that’s potentially 10 less teams available for selection. Houston got off to a slow start, so any team that used them early is likely eliminated already, meaning it is a live play option for the majority of the remaining entries. I expect most entries to be on this pick. Normally this is where I try to get cute and not load up on the large favorite with the masses, but I don’t see anything that I really like. Minnesota vs Indianapolis looks tempting, but doesn’t fit the 7-points or more threshold. It’s close, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
