NFL Picks for Bets and Contests
The NFL Championship games were fantastic contests. It seemed everyone in Detroit was packing their bags for Las Vegas at halftime, only to be left wondering what if. Detroit had a great season, but were also fortunate that MIN QB Cousins was injured and out for season. Depending on what happens with the MIN QB situation, the NFC North could be more competitive next year. Green Bay and QB Love improved throughout the season, with a few offseason additions, they could be even better last year. I like how Detroit has constructed their team, but each year brings new challenges and I’m afraid this might have been a 1-year window for this team.
Looking at the Super Bowl, I’m expecting a lower scoring hard fought game. I think Kansas City will have success running the ball inside as San Francisco will concentrate on slowing down the pass attack. I also believe San Francisco will try to shorten the game, and run a slow methodical offense with a lot of 3-step drop quick passes across the middle and the outside run. I don’t normally bet a lot of player props, I participate in daily fantasy instead, but since its the last game of the season, I’ve included some player props that fit my expected game profile described above.
