NFL Picks for Bets and Contests

As fortune would hold, as soon as the side bets start cashing the total bets are holding me back. Last week was another tough loss on the total, holding a ticket of UNDER 47 and the score falling 48. I don’t mind losing, but I’d much rather think I didn’t have a chance right from the start than to just lose by a point in the end, and that’s basically what happened when MIA scored a TD with 2:49 remaining in the game to go up 14.

The last 2 weeks have been good on the side plays, and 1 of my cards in the SuperContest and Circa Millions has gone 4-1 in weeks 7 and 8. The SuperContest runs 3-week mini contests, and the current 3-week contest is for weeks 7 – 9, so this is a good time for me, and a chance at $25K. The bad news is that there are lots of players sitting at 9-1 or 8-2, so not only do I need to go 5-0 on sides this week, I need a LOT of help to get into the money. Either way, it’s fun to have a chance and see your name on the board.

My other card is doing well too, but only at 7-3, so zero chance at cashing in the week 7-9 mini contest. Hopefully both cards keep going strong and I have a chance to cash in the 6-week contest running weeks 7-12. But now for this weeks action.
