Weekly picks for DraftKings Pick’em
Normally the selections for the original model are posted at the bottom of my weekly contest picks. However, due to holiday travel, the original model was still processing the simulations when it came time to post the contest picks. I included Detroit in my contest picks, which needed to be submitted Wednesday night to my proxy. I hate rushing picks, but I also hate missing out on 4 games. Now I wish I would’ve skipped Detroit and went with original deadline on Saturday.
Original Model
The original model had another good performance in week 12, going 4-1. That brings its overall record to 33-27 on the season.
The aligned system picks of Jaguars and Cowboys went 2-0 last week, as long as you had Jaguars -2.5 and not -3. That brings the aligned season performance to 6-7 ATS on the season. The 2 systems are not aligned on any plays in week 13.
The original model continued its domination of the New Mexico model in head-to-head matchups. The Rams absolutely smoked the Buccaneers on SNF, and the original model has moved to a 5-1 record in head-to-head matchups this season. This week there are 2 head-to-head matchups between the models: Houston at Indianapolis and Atlanta at NY Jets.
