NFL Survivor 2025 Week 11
Last week is a great example of why I try to avoid the popular teams in survivor. I even mentioned the Bills and Panthers as options but avoided them because they were divisional games and Buffalo was on the road. Over 1/3 of the entries were eliminated last week because of these 2 teams, luckily I wasn’t one of them.
However, my pick, the Bears, didn’t make things easy on me. In fact, I needed a miracle 4th quarter comeback from Caleb Williams to survive week 10. Luckily for my the Giants don’t know how to finish games, and collapsed once again for another 4th quarter loss. This time, Daboll didn’t survive the week either, getting fired on Monday. The other option, the one I didn’t pick, was Indianapolis in Germany. The Colts were unable to pull away from the Falcons, but were able to get the dub.
Looking at this weeks games, the Patriots were probably the biggest selection for week 11. Unfortunately for me I already used New England earlier in the season. The people on the Patriots are already moving on to week 12, so good for them. The Packers will probably be another big selection this week, taking on the previously mentioned Giants. I’ve already used Green Bay, but I don’t think I would pick them right now anyways. You never know how a team responds to losing a head coach in the middle of the season, and the Packers offense doesn’t look right without TE Kraft.
Baltimore is another team that could get a lot of picks, but I’m avoiding the Ravens for 2 reasons: 1. road game and 2. divisional game. Put your hands together and it’s definitely a stay away. The last team I expect to get a lot of public love this week is Dallas, and while I did consider the Cowboys, the defense is simply not good enough to pick on the road.
The New Mexico model I use for the pick ’em contests suggests that Buffalo and Los Angeles Chargers should both win easily this week. They have smaller lines, so they shouldn’t have too many selections on them. I also like the fact that both are against non-divisional opponents. The only thing I don’t like is that the Chargers are on the road, but I already used Buffalo in a couple of my contests, so I need a team for them. Lets go Bills and Chargers!
